SBTRKT Live at Dublin Academy

I went to see SBTRKT on Sunday night at the Acamdemy in Dublin - they were absolutely brilliant. Sampha’s voice live is as smooth as it is on the album but the highglight had to be SBTRKT’s live drumming - he is an absolutely obscene drummer as the above video hopefully demonstrates.

If these guys are coming through your town I strongly advise going to see them, it was one of the most impressive live set-ups for an “electronic” act that I’ve ever seen - really pushing things more than the army of goons who get up there with a laptop and a midi controller.
